Women in Science and Engineering (WISE) at Baylor University began in YEAR. WISE’s mission is to support women in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM). To provide excellence, creativity, and talent to STEM, WISE has a goal to increase the number of women and underrepresented minorities in these fields. We hope to accomplish this by showcasing graduate student research via WISE’s Graduate Student Seminar series and providing a yearly panel of Women in STEM and yearly workshops on such topics as imposter syndrome, online presence, and intersectionality.
